Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, off of Highway 17 ByPass, The Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood is a traditional layout designed by Edmund Ault in the early 1970s. It features gently sloping fairways with a variety of hazards, bunkers and large, subtle undulating greens. Palmetto is consistently ranked as one of the top repeat-play courses along the Grand Strand.
At The Palmetto, you’ll enjoy well-manicured Tifdwarf Bermuda grass greens and open fairways that allow plenty of room off the tee. The 18th is a par 4 that runs parallel with the Intracoastal Waterway. Despite the presence of the Intracoastal on the left, the 18th fairway is extremely wide. The ideal play is the right-center of the fairway, setting up a short to mid-iron into a well-protected green. It is an outstanding finishing hole.
In addition to top-flight golf, Myrtlewood Golf Club also offers on-site golf villas that area ideal for golf groups. Stay and play within walking distance of the first tee and a short drive from Myrtle Beach’s most popular attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping centers.
