MBGH and NPCC Offer Free Testing on Tuesday, April 15th
The National Prostate Cancer Coalition will bring their 40-foot “Drive Against Prostate Cancer Mobile Screening RV” to the Myrtle Beach PGA TOUR Superstore parking lot on Tuesday, April 15 to offer free testing for all men from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The National Prostate Cancer Coalition provides 20,000 free tests each year through the RV and if tested in a doctor’s office or a clinic, the same prostate cancer screening would cost approximately $200.
One of every six men will deal with prostate cancer during their lifetime and every 18 minutes, a man dies from the disease. African-American men are two-and-a-half times more likely to be affected.
