Tiger's Eye Golf Links in Sunset Beach, N.C., is one of the four championship courses in the Big Cat family at the Ocean Ridge Plantation, and perhaps the toughest one to tame.

Designed by renowned architect Tim Cate, Tiger's Eye takes full advantage of the natural surroundings, featuring 60-foot sandhills that create dramatic elevation changes in elevation and pristine lakes and wetlands that cleverly used as natural water hazards.

Ranked among the "Top 100 Public Golf Courses" in the country by Golf Digest, this links-style layout presents a true test of golf in a unique landscape that features native grasses and wildflowers and scenic salt marshes and waterfalls.

The diversity of the terrain creates some obvious physical demands, but Tiger's Eye is a thinking-man's layout that requires patience and precision, particularly in the short game.
