Myrtlewood Golf Club's Pine Hills Course in Myrtle Beach is one of the Grand Strand's first and finest layouts, standing the test of time amid the Myrtle Beach golf boom.
Opened in 1966, the Pine Hills Course underwent a major renovation by architect Arthur Hill and was nominated for a "Best New Resort Course" accolade by Golf Digest in 1994. Along with the sister Palmetto Course, Myrtlewood is a popular choice among locals and visitors.
Stretching along the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway, Pine Hills features Tifdwarf Bermuda grass greens and fairways that make the course as playable as it is beautiful.
