It's nicknamed "The Granddaddy," as Pine Lakes is the first and oldest golf course on the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand. It was designed in the mid-1920's by a native of St. Andrews, Scotland named Robert White, who went on to become the first President of the PGA of America.
