Hummingbird Course at Wild Wing Plantation

Our only stand-alone, nine-hole layout, the Hummingbird Course should be part of every Myrtle Beach golf trip. Located at Wild Wing Planation, the Hummingbird enjoys a prime location and is the perfect way to cap a day.

The Hummingbird isn’t a pitch-and-putt; it’s a real nine-hole layout that will challenge players to hit nearly every club in the bag. The course plays just over 3,000 yards from the back tees, but don’t be deceived into believing it’s a short course.

The layout features three par 3s, including the eighth and ninth holes, and only one par 5. It’s a par 34 that includes plenty of length and a couple forced carries. But it’s enjoyable way to complete a 27-hole day in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the conditions are always outstanding.

Hummingbird, along with Avocet, its sister course, continue to make Wild Wing one of the area’s most popular facilities, according to people taking a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina golf vacation. Located along the Highway 501 corridor, Hummingbird is one of the area most accessible courses regardless of where you are staying.
