Azalea Sands

Located less than a half-mile from the Atlantic Ocean, Azalea Sands is a player-friendly layout. The course has no homes or condos; it’s just you and a layout that encourages a round of golf that can be completed in four hours or less.

A 2009 renovation project included strategic tree removal, making the course more playable. The project opened the fairways up off the tee and allowed for greater air circulation throughout the property, a boon for course conditions.

Due to its proximity to the ocean and its location on Highway 17, Azalea Sands enjoys one of the area’s most convenient locations in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The course plays 6,902 yards from the tips, but most importantly has a set of tees at 6,300 and 6,000 yards, making it exceedingly playable for mid to high handicappers as well.

Azalea Sands opened in 1972 and has remained committed to providing an enjoyable round of golf at a value price.
