Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club
Designed by legendary golf course architect Edmund B. Ault, Palmetto at Myrtlewood Golf Club has been a consistent favorite of Grand Strand golfers for nearly two generations, earning continuous rankings as one of the top repeat-play courses in Myrtle Beach. This highly popular course maintains optimal playing conditions throughout the year and is always ready to offer a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
Palmetto’s traditional design offers accommodating Bermuda fairways that slope gently through old growth pines. Stretching out along the Intracoastal Waterway, the course serves up a variety of hazards and bunkers to test your shot-making abilities as you play your way onto the large, subtly undulating Tifdwarf Bermuda greens.
Palmetto expresses the simple, traditional aesthetic of a classic Ault design. Open fairways offer plenty of legitimate landing areas, but the par 4s are more challenging than they appear and the high bunker population ensures you’ll get in work on your sand game. Throughout your round, you’ll find plenty of solid character and the welcome surprise of a few wild thrills.
With two top-quality courses in a resort setting, an excellent practice facility, exceptional service and hospitality, a perfect location, plus package deals on accommodations, golf, and dining, Myrtlewood Golf Club is the ideal spot for your Grand Strand golf getaway.
Myrtlewood Golf Club is owned and managed by Burroughs & Chapin Golf Management, the leader in delivering quality golf experiences.
