Gary Player's only Myrtle Beach golf design, Blackmoor, is a beauty. The South Strand layout enjoys a devoted following. The course was built on the grounds of what used to be 19th century rice plantation, and Player maintained the property's charm while developing a golf course that is as scenic as it is playable.

we played this course EVERY year when our group came to Myrtle Beach. One of our faves. Risk/reward choices on most holes. HAVE to "fly the chute" on #6---it's what you came for, isn't it?
This course is great, I have played it a half dozen times or so.
